Two families came together last weekend at a beautiful beach in Hanalei, Kauai, to celebrate Bernadette and Alvin’s wedding. It was an intimate affair, just a handful of close family and friends witnessing the gorgeous couple’s sweet vows in a breathtaking setting at Ke’e Beach. It was so refreshing to spend our Mother’s Day afternoon watching these two families share in such a momentous occasion. We love how Bernadette and Alvin’s chemistry is so natural and honest, and we are so happy that we got to capture their special day.

Sara + Blake // Super 8 Wedding Film // Tunnels Beach, North Shore

Sara and Blake were so awesome and fun to work with. We had been looking forward to their wedding for a while. Sara just had to have her wedding filmed in Super 8 and we love the opportunity to bust out our Super 8 camera, so it was a win-win. With just the two of them, the stunning mountain backdrop, and sand in their toes, these two love birds said their I Do’s at one of the prettiest spots on Kauai, Tunnels Beach on the North Shore. It’s always a treat to receive our film back from processing and see what was captured. The grit and graininess of Super 8 film is truly unique and gives such a fun, old-fashioned, and dreamy vibe to any movie. We’re happy to share some of what we captured that day with this Super 8 highlight film. Congrats Sara + Blake!

The Phantom Returns // Aerial Eye Candy Around Waimea, Kauai

It was a sad sad day when our Phantom copter landed in a puddle of water, causing it to be sent in for repairs. After what seemed like forever, we are giddy to finally be getting our copter back, fixed good as new. Be on the lookout for more amazing aerial footage coming to a wedding near you. Jing + Matt // St. Regis Princeville

The view from the St. Regis Princeville’s Kamani Cove is one taken from a storybook, so it was the perfect venue for Jing and Matthias’s beautiful wedding ceremony and reception. As we watched Jing and Matt exchange sweet promises to each other, it was easy to see that Jing had found her prince charming. The couple chose a romantic instrumental as the soundtrack for their wedding video, and it fit perfectly, letting their personalized vows shine. The day truly was a fairy tale, and we are so excited to have been a part of it! Check out the couple’s same-day edit below!
